Meet the Forest
In 2021, my husband and I walked through a slice of woods deep in the woods of Northern Wisconsin and I had never been to a place that felt so alive. I can’t say I’d ever felt a calling before. But that day I was called to this place.
On that day, when this land invited me to move here, a pact of sorts was made – one revolving around mutual caretaking.
I was asked to be a steward of this place, and in return this forest would be our home and help to care for me and my family – and I knew it was more than simply a place to buy – or even simply a place to live.
It is a place of exploring what it looks like to live with the forest, not separate from it.
A place of constant experimentation, regenerative agriculture, healing, and refuge.
A place where science and spirituality intersect.
