These dogs feel so much like dropping anchors, anchors grounding me here to this land. A stabilizing force helping to bridge my energy to this place. True guardians standing between us and the threats that live in the woods. The bridge, gatekeepers, anchors, guardians – quickly becoming the heart of our homestead.
Tulip
Tulip is our adult livestock guardian dog. A mentor with a loving and warm temperament towards any animal I bring to the property. She can be sweet, loving, and soft in one moment. And a ferocious guardian the next.
She came to use when we first moved to this property in the woods when I wanted a dog who could help deter predators right away without waiting for a puppy to mature. And she fits perfectly into our family.
Willow

River
,River is from the same breeder as Willow, but while Willow is being raised with the sheep, River is being raised in our home as a general farm, property/family guardian. She is huge, adorable, and is already showing excellent discernment. She is a constant presence in everything I do, from far choose, to hiking, to meditating. She’s quickly becoming a physical guardian and spiritual anchor.
