Imposter syndrome is a real thing. It can be helpful in that it keeps us humble, and it keeps us learning and growing. But, it can also stop progress in it’s tracks. Convincing you that you don’t know enough, you’re not talented enough. You’re just not enough.

I’ve struggled with it my whole life. This little voice that believes I’m never quite qualified to be doing what I’m doing.

It’s happening again now. That little

But when thoughts like this come and swirl and stir up all kinds of emotions. That’s when we’re invited into Queen of Swords’ work, to stop and ask, “but is this true? These stories that my mind is telling me – are they true? Or are they my brain’s misguided attempts to keep me safe?”

Because like water, emotions take up whatever space and shape is there, becoming turbulent and out of control only when mixed with something else – like the stories we tell ourselves about those emotions.

The imposter syndrome is real – it’s the stories my brain is telling me to attempt to keep me safe. The fear is a mechanism to keep me safe. But growth, authenticity, our life purpose – it’s always on the other side of that fear.

And so the queen of swords has shown herself to ask me, “is this true? The stories you’re telling yourself about reading for others, about sharing your journey, about taking this next step. Are they true?”

I’ve been reading for friends and family for quite awhile and for myself for even longer. I’ve done the work, the study, the practice, but I need to take that next step on the journey – reading for others.

However, distance readings are new for me, and I could use more practice in that area. This means that through August 2022, I’m offering $5 email readings, and $20 hybrid readings (with a live Zoom component and an email component)

So, if you’re looking for a reading, interested in working with me, or willing to let me practice on you – you can schedule an email reading on this page.
